right or privilege

Actually had a whole long post in mind but i wanna watch 'infamous murderers: angels of death'.

I don't think we really have rights, just privileges, cos' if rights are what we think it is, why is it so easily taken away or the very idea that it can be taken away at all? So how can we have 'rights' when the idea or meaning behind the word 'rights' is not fufilled at all? Or am I wrong on all this?
