successes.skins.failures...
i succumbed to xml. one must constantly upgrade, or so they say.
as you can tell, a new header, return of the tagboard, a mysterious un-showing comment function, a poll, basically, a new look. the usual i ask of you my readers, any buggy issues, which i really doubt there will be since i simply tweaked the existing template.
now, i must actually state the amount of work that was spent and lost into doing this. this final result, took simply a matter of minutes. however, me being me, wanting to have TOTAL control over what i wanted, resorted to going back to html even after switching it to xml. for a few reasons, one, i really couldn't read xml. i need a textbook. two, it was really much easier to play around with html. i did kinda get the result i wanted from html, aesthetic wise that is, after fiddling with numerous combinations of codings. but it was way way far from what i had envisioned. so i settled. at least this is something decent for your eyes i suppose.
the revival of the tagboard was simply due to the constant grumbles i received on the lack of it. so yes, there it is on the right.
i'm really still trying to get a dividing line between the entries and side bar. does anyone have any idea on how to do that? i would show a picture, but then, i'm really too lazy to do that as of now.
but yes, i hope you like it. cos' if you don't, then really, it's your problem. cos i do quite like it.
