why having my own car is good...

we rented a mini cabrio, yes a little luxurious, but without theresa and her oldness, i doubt i would ever get to drive, let alone sit in a mini. which turned out to be a good thing cos' it made me cancel out the mini on my 'to buy' list. really, saddening but true.

so with our little red mini, we drove around, like around around. me being the navigator, at the end of two days, sydway (their street directory) for the city is almost drilled into memory.

so our first stop upon picking up the car, lunch with olympia @ swiss grand hotel where she works. her hotel overlooks bondi beach, no, there is no train station near the beach, accessible either by car or bus only. thomas, olympia's boyfriend joined us too.. but sadly, we forgot to catch him on our camera. here's after a scrumptious lunch...

.bondi.

us fooling around with the mini... this was the only time we remembered to take photos with the trusty little friend though. dunno why...

we decided. ok, i decided to go to watson's bay. and man, it was a good decision. i live in the northern suburbs, and watson's bay, was all the way on the east end... i'm just glad the other two enjoyed it as well...

we drove past the gap bluff where it seems popular for committing/attempting suicide, which after seeing it, made it not that hard to understand why. it's a nice place to die, well, it's a really nice place actually. it felt so good, away from the city. the annoyance of the city, its people and its vehicles. it actually felt like what i could call the country side. i wanna move there..

we ended off the day heading back to the city for the usual must have snap shot of where else but the harbor bridge and opera house..

other places which we went were harry's cafe on wheels in woolloomooloo, try pronouncing that man. had pies and hotdog.. the highlight was that we parked right behind a red honda which actually had 5 bullet holes in the back of the car. yes, real bullet holes, not the stupid stick on ones which i never really understood why people would get them. but yeah. it was pretty scary.

rushed a brekkie before returning the car, which i have yet to try it's eggs bennie. but the omelette was good. z, if only you were here. decor was pretty luxurious for a cafe. it was on the breakfast blog. fifi forveaux? i think it was called..

ah, but now it's back to reality and start the job hunting. wish me luck.
