i suppose...
...now would be a good time to blog.
frankly, i don't know what i should blog, or if i should blog anymore. my blog page is looking bleak as hell, with the simple white background. obviously if someone offers to do it up for me, with what i had envisioned, then maybe it would be more of an incentive to blog. so to any takers out there, if you have any flash designing capabilities, please holler. ha.
so yes, in case anyone's wondering where in the world is this little blob of a girl at now, i'm in sydney, trying to find some sprouting roots off me so i can finally settle in and root myself down in syd for now. i've been saying i feel like a nomad, maybe my life is really supposed to be nomadic. i hope that's actually good. i wanna travel to youknowwheretheyallare.
let's see what else, to all who didn't get the previous post, yes, i've finally gotten my victorian driver's, but now i have to go get it converted to an ugly, yellow nsw licence. although this means i would be able to get a full licence one year earlier, i would have to take another rubbish hazard perception test at the end of year one, and another drivers qualification test at the end of year two, which unlike victoria, i would not have to spend ANY MORE money just to have a full licence. i am annoyed. yes, and it didn't help that even though sydney is supposedly the most cosmopolitan city in australia, it still doesn't work like one. as you would have most probably guessed, i went down to rta (equivalent of LTA in sg), having waited 40 bloody minutes, not inclusive of the parts where i had to climb a really steep hill, and walk a really loooong walk (ok, fine, i'm somewhat exaggerating). all of this was annoying simply because of the sweltering heat i had to endure. oh yes, back to being at rta. before going to the counter, this lady who was waiting beside me earlier, wished me luck as i got up, only after did i understand why. let's see, i waited 40 minutes, only to be told in 5 mins, that nothing could be done until they have sent a fax to vicroads, and received a reply to authenticate my victorian licence. the most annoying thing was, the lady at first said, "come back on monday", and knowing how australians work, i asked again to confirm that would be true. lo and behold, "call this number, and enquire to see if we've received a reply from vicroads". cb, i hate such ambiguity. and i wouldn't be surprised if there were question marks flying everywhere when i call the statewide helpline which was given to me. rta sucks. really.
that aside, it's really time for me to start powdering that resume of mine, and sending them out electronically in hope of securing a job which i love and not loathe. otherwise, who knows, i might actually be back in singapore before you know it.

Hmm, is it terrible of me to wish you don't find a job you like so you will come back?
