peektures 2
peeek-tures uploaded from my camera. i'm not much of a photographer as you can tell... umm, the events are not in chronological order i must first say although i do try...by the way, i kinda did put a watermark on my pics cos my dad said it was safer.. umm.. but... it can't really be seen, so quite pointless really..
that's jay and me bro, ben.
this was a day after i arrived back in singapore, and my bro actually took off, to go shopping with me. how sweet is that? yes, we are siblings, can't you tell we both share the same passion for shopping. it was after a long day of walking around town, and we met jay and boon, boon is nowhere in the picture, cos he actually forgot i was to be back on the 14th. lousy friend. hahha. anyway, we were at ah meng's cafe waiting for dinner to be served and the guys were watching soccer, the argentina one, the one that had a lot of goals scored against its opponents, the cafe got the service from the indonesian channels. haha. and after making some comments, and being ACCUSED of forcing them to come out and meet me instead of being home watching it... this is what i got.
jay DIAO-ED me lor.. what the hell
banners in the national stadium
this is something i don't understand.. what happened to the letter 'D' and why were they all behind the screens? playing hide and seek? i nearly died trying to get to the seat i was when i took this picture. i wondered to myself, would i die of heat exhaustion or body odour.. seriously, you should have seen the sweat patches on men and women alike, and girls with their make up melting and sliding off their faces.. oooh, not a pretty sight. my dad actually cut up our ikea placemats as makeshift fans. i complained that it was unglam. after the ordeal, i was actually thankful for them.
THE MOTIVATORS!
k, our motivators, not this one in the photo, were pretty 'on' lah, i have to admit.. but seriously.. like we couldn't tell they were there to motivate us and had to have them printed on the tees?!??! haiyoh.. singapore ah singapore..
dinner at lemongrass - heeren with the see side cousins.
k, actually it's spot the odd one out. one of them is a keh-see-side-cousin. guess who?
oh not all my cousins were here though, they all lead busy and global lives. these are the few who still have some time left in their busy schedules. and i stole min's signature v sign (must credit her... heheh)
there! this one is the odd one out.
she's actually like a cousin to us. when we have family gatherings, it's a normal, eh where's lorraine ah.. so much so, she has the SEE side phone-dangly as proof!! -all the cousins have the same phone-danglies with our names embossed in it with courtesy of ken kor.
the REAL cousins.
that's suping che and irwin kor. umm, zhao ru was in one of the pics too, but i had a double chin.. as a result.. heheh..
yvonne che the bird-day girl(advance) - don't know why she had to tilt her head like that either. haha
we actually had the dinner cos' it was kinda like a gathering before i left for melbourne again, but some of us had secretly bought a cake to celebrate it for her in advance. she was shocked lor.. umm, but she didn't like chocolate.. sooo.. umm... yes, as you can tell we aren't actually very adept at events like this. yvonne che came back recently for a short working stint in singapore, can't wait to see the results of her projects.
ronald and bernie - gatecrashers
they decided to join us in the end. they missed out on good food. and see the fishnet band ron's wearing on his elbow.. initially i thought he was trying a lil too hard to be hip-hoppish, but i saw this patch underneath and got a waft of the 'tiger-balm' smell.. ron, you are getting old already.. hahahha.
yeap, so this is the end of my peektures part 2. and yes, i still have more.. the wala ones.
