handicapped

my laptop went for it's long overdue check up session at the ASUS ROYAL CLUB at the aldephi (the one opposite funan centre) yesterday. unfortunately all i can say is that, my laptop might not be in good hands since the people weren't exactly the best of best in terms of service, royal club? ha! an exerpt of my conversation...

me:

umm, there are a number of things wrong with my laptop, but mainly my enter key isn't working and sometimes the sound doesn't come out, which i suspect it's prolly cos of my sound card... (before i could continue...)

him:

orh, then like that is confirm your motherboard got problem already, then your keyboard spoil ah, that one ah, will be 120 dollars leh. k (starts writing the problems down on the receipt?) you write your name here, phone number here and sign here. ok can already.

me:

don't you have to know what's wrong with the other parts of my computer? like my wireless link, and usb ports... (my usb ports have magically decided that they did not wanna be up to date being a 2.0 port and have decided to have a slower take and become a 1.1 port, maybe being in oz had something to do with it. k that's dumb, but who knows, my com might just have a life of its own)

him:

don't need lah, your sound not working already means motherboard got problem what. look already we will know all the problems.

frankly that's dumb bullshit. as if you are conscientious enough to check through all the parts of my laptop and be able to fix it, supposing that i want it up for fixing. singaporeans bah. then again, my dad said he could be taiwanese. hmms.. i don't know..

so yeah, i don't have a laptop to use for now cept for my dad, but i can't do much with it 'cept surf. bleagh.. i am soooo handicapped.
